A history of caring for people Coastline Ambulance was actually founded from direct experience related to patient transport. A number of years ago, members of our senior management team who had worked in the ambulance services and home healthcare fields realized that the way people were being cared for during transport could be better. From that point, the idea of developing an ambulance company that put people first, was born. Today, Coastline Ambulance has grown from just a few vehicles to a fleet of 8 ambulances and 11 transport vans. We've managed to attract some of the best and brightest emergency response and customer care professionals. And our rigorous and constant focus on training and certification is proof of our ongoing commitment to make both emergency and non-emergency transport the best it can be for the people of Rhode Island.
